NOTICE OF MEETING(S) AND POSSIBLE EXECUTIVE SESSION(S) OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA POLICE PENSION BOARD

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38—431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the University of Arizona Police Pension Board and to the general public, that The University of Arizona Police Pension Board will hold meetings open to the public if there is business to conduct, on a quarterly basis. Meetings will be held on the dates below at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room of The University of Arizona Police Department, 1852 E First Street, Tucson, AZ 85721, for the purpose of considering regular business and/or deciding whether to go into Executive Sessions. If authorized by a majority vote of the members of The University of Arizona Police Pension Board, an Executive Session will be held immediately after the vote and will not be open to the public.

The agenda for all meetings and any Board member meeting packets may be obtained from the Board Secretary, no later than twenty-four (24) hours before each meeting.

The quarterly meeting dates are as follows:

January 12th, 2022
April 13th, 2022
July 13th, 2022
October 12th, 2022

Special meeting(s) may be called at other times and will be announced by separate notice. Executive Session(s) if approved, are authorized under A.R.S. 38-431.03 Subsection (A), Paragraph 3.

       B. Application of additional new hire for Police Officer Recruit Robert Moore with a hire date of 1/17/22.
V.    Board Member Election in January 2022

This Executive Session, if held, is authorized under A.R.S. 38-431.03 Subsection (A)(3).

      D.  It was noted that Corporal Micholjon Amada has entered the DROP effective June 1st, 2022.

      D.  It is noted that retired Deputy Chief Keith Brittain has been temporarily rehired in a non-covered position as a CLERY consultant.

      E.  It is noted that new hire University Safety Aide Geri Tinsley retired from Marana Police Department and has submitted form ER-SUB to PSPRS.

      F.  It is noted that new hire University Safety Aide Michael Gonzales retired from Tucson Police Department and has submitted form ER-SUB to PSPRS.
