Occurrence:  August 29, 2020

Location(s):  Student Union Memorial Center, 1303 E. University Blvd. Tucson, AZ

Details:  On August 29, 2020, the UAPD received a report of a stabbing at the Student Union Memorial Center, 1303 E. University Blvd. A UAlert was sent at 8:40 a.m., with details and a description of two college-aged suspects.

After extensive investigation, the UAPD has determined the facts and circumstances reported at the time of the incident do not indicate that the incident occurred in the manner reported, and has now closed the case as a false report.
