The University of Arizona Police Department seeks experienced and entry level applicants. 

UAPD Safety Aides are confident and often must make quick assessments for sound decisions. We seek to reflect the rich diversity of the community in the quality people we employ.   • Salary Range: $17.53/hour
  • Full Time, 40 Hours per week

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent learning attained through experience may be required (GED)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required. Department will consider any relevant volunteer, internship, or applicable experience as it relates towards the position.
  • Possession of a current Arizona Type D driver's license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy
  • Successfully pass an in-depth background investigation to include passing a polygraph examination
