The RTCC Operator supports the Real Time Coordination Center (RTCC) through the monitoring, coordination, review, and operational support of university systems, operational technologies, communication resources, and campus safety-related operations. This position utilizes multiple operational systems and technology platforms to maintain situational awareness, monitor camera resources, support emergency and after-hours operational coordination, and communicate relevant information to university personnel and operational partners.
RTCC Operators support both planned and unplanned operational activities within a fast-paced 24/7 environment and are responsible for maintaining professionalism, sound judgment, adaptability, and effective communication while managing multiple operational systems simultaneously.

Available shifts include 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM and 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

  • Benefits Eligible: Yes
  • Salary Range: $20.33 - 25.41$/hour
  • Full Time, 40 Hours per week

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required (GED).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required. Department will consider any relevant volunteer, internship, or applicable experience as it relates to the position.
  • Successfully pass an in-depth background investigation, to include passing a polygraph examination.
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
