Description

The Financial Analyst III position is at the City of Tucson with Tucson Police Department/Counter Narcotics Alliance (CNA) in partnership with the University of Arizona Police Department. This position manages and implements all financial and administrative support services for the task force; role includes responsibilities in accounting, compliance, and financial management. The Financial Analyst III reports to the CNA Commanders and Board of Directors and supervises the daily job duties of four employees.

This federally grant-funded position is based within the Tucson Police Department (TPD). While this is a University of Arizona Police Department (UAPD) position, TPD oversees daily operations. Successful candidates must comply with TPD, University of Arizona and UAPD policies. These include but are not limited to maintaining a drug-free workplace and undergoing random drug testing.

  • Salary Range: $65,687 - $85,393
  • Full Time, 40 Hours per week
  • This role is NOT remote

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional-level experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Successfully pass an in-depth background investigation including passing a polygraph examination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a Federal agency and managing Grants.
  • Experience working with Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) forfeiture law.
