The University Police Department is seeking a Community Service Officer for the Phoenix area. Community Service Officers maintain security and safety of people and property on the University of Arizona Phoenix-metro area campuses by patrolling in marked department vehicles and enforcing University rules and regulations. Community Service Officers perform directed and self-initiated patrols to detect and report suspicious and criminal activity to Dispatch and other personnel in the field. UAPD CSOs must be willing to work rotating shifts/days off, and work holidays.   • Full Time, 40 Hours per week

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent learning attained through experience may be required (GED)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required. Department will consider any relevant volunteer, internship, or applicable experience as it relates towards the position.
  • Possession of a current Arizona Type D driver's license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy
  • Successfully pass an in-depth background investigation to include passing a polygraph examination
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
