Sgt. Cindy Spasoff started her career with The University of Arizona Police Department in January 2006 as a Police Radio Dispatcher. In February 2008, she applied and was hired as a Police Officer, Recruit and attended the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Training Center. As a patrol officer, Cindy also held positions of Field Training Officer and Quality Assurance Specialist. In October 2010, she was awarded the MADD award for her contributions to DUI enforcement. In January 2011, she was promoted to Police Officer, Sr., and in July 2014, Cindy became the first UAPD female officer to be promoted to Sergeant. She currently supervises the patrol swing shift in the Field Operations Division.
