The University of Arizona Police Department has located the vehicle associated with the suspect, Jose DeJesus Cuevas-Hernandez. The suspect is still outstanding. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Cuevas-Hernandez is urged to immediately call 9-1-1.

On May 1, 2013, at approximately 6:55 a.m., University of Arizona Police Officers responded to the area of 4th Street and Tyndall Avenue in reference to reports of a stabbing. On arrival officers discovered a male victim with serious non-life threatening injuries. The Tucson Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital.
The suspect has been identified as 63 year old Jose DeJesus Cuevas-Hernandez of Tucson, Arizona. Cuevas-Hernandez is 5’6” tall, 200 lbs., with brown eyes, brown hair and a thick bushy mustache. A warrant has been issued for Cuevas-Hernandez’s arrest. Do not approach the suspect if you see him. Immediately call 9-1-1 if you know his whereabouts.
